Brief History​

Mahila Shishu Kalyan Sansthan Evam Hast Shilp Kala prashikshan Kendra (MSKS) is a non-profit organization established in 1983. It was registered in February 1986 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at Patna, Bihar. Since its inception it is working on improving community health and development, addressing pressing social issues and improving the lives of marginalized communities, advocating for human rights, providing healthcare to underserved populations, or supporting education initiatives, in Gopalganj, Bihar
MSKS was formed by a visionary leader Dr. Md. Wasim, & Smt. Nasim Afroj and some likeminded social reformists with a noble vision to assist in making community health a reality for the people with priority to the less privileged millions.
In its initial years, MSKS dedicated its efforts to increasing the capacities and expertise of the Charitable health care service providers who are working in remote areas. Also, MSKS played an important role in providing support during natural calamities.
As time unfolded, MSKS expanded its scope by initiating various interventions to address the community health issues of marginalized individuals within society
At present MSKS is implementing various health, nutrition, skill training, HIV/AIDS, Ambulance services, prevention of child marriage, and livelihood related projects and programs in Gopalganj, Bihar.
